Tony McManus

Tony McManus TrioTony will tour the coming season accompanied by the Grainger brothers on bass and percussion. Together they bring a wealth of experience, from Gary's time with jazz guitar legend John Scofield to Greg's work with Whitney Houston.

Tony met the brothers through guitar building icon Paul Reed Smith who has called on them to back countless artists who play Smith's guitars:  Carlos Santana, Al Di Meola, David Grissom, Neal Schon, Paul Jackson Jr. and many others.

Their work with an acoustic artist like Tony McManus brings a new dimension to these collaborations and likewise expands McManus's musical horizons.

This spring will see the release of the second solo album by award-winning Scottish songstress Maeve Mackinnon.

Maeve's new album is an exciting collection of songs in English and Gaelic, containing echoes of her much praised debut album “Don’t Sing Lovesongs”, overtones of jazz and blues, and as Maeve laughingly admits ...“We have gone a wee bit electric!”.

New York based Valley Entertainment (Joanie Madden - Cherish The Ladies /Capercaillie) expects the album to be released February/March 2011. Canadian dates are planned in conjunction with USA dates.

Maeve Mackinnon (vocals) - Innes Watson (guitar, fiddle, vocals) - Angus Lyon (piano, accordian).
